Cannes: just a few kilometres takes you to Cannes, famous for its Croisette and the Palais des Festivals. Stroll through the narrow lanes of the old town of "Le Suquet" overlooking the port. If shopping is your thing, the Rue d'Antibes has everything you could ever want in the way of shops and boutiques.
Inland: Grasse, Mougins, St Paul de Vence, Biot, villages steeped in history, famous for their crafts, etc.
Walking and hiking all year round in the wild Esterel Massif or Provencal hinterland, famous for its traditional crafts (just 33 km from Cannes).
For a February getaway, try the Menton Lemon Festival or the Carnival in Nice.
A mere 50 km away, discover all the splendid sights of Monaco/Monte Carlo, from the Prince's palace to the Oceanographic Museum and the National Museum of Automats, the world-famous Rally in January, the tennis Masters in April, and the Formula 1 Grand Prix at the end of May.
And why not take a flight in a helicopter or light aircraft for a bird's eye view of the region?
